The best part of Christmas is…

The afternoon, just as everyone starts to turn up and the smell of Christmas dinner fill’s the house. The crisp cold winter air drifts inside with each family member as they rush thought the door, arms filled with bag’s bursting with presents.

The worst part of Christmas is…

What to buy my husband! He has everything and the things he doesn’t have cost way too much money…

Your best, and worst, Christmas present?

My best is easy. My engagement ring hidden inside a Christmas tree decoration…

My worst were two hand-made stuffed cats

When do you do your Christmas shopping?

I am super organised, so I tend to start on October and have it all rapped by Mid December with out fail…

Any Christmas Day traditions?

Yes, the flower game… You pack a mixing bowl full of flower then tip it out on to a tray. You then take a ring and place it on the top. The players then take turns in cutting the flower away in one signal downward motion. The aim of the game is to cut away the flower but not to tumble the flower that the ring sits on top of... Whoever knocks the ring over has to pick it out with their teeth, and yes you guest it, someone will always push your face into the flower. I have many photos of me with a ring in my teeth and a face covered in flower when I was younger.

Favourite Christmas book?

Oh very easy. ‘Withering Heights’ by Emily Brontë

Favourite Christmassy book cover?

‘The Gift’ by Cecelia Ahern. It is simple and Christmassy

Book sat at the top of your Christmas in July wishlist?

Sophie Kinsella ‘Finding Audrey’

When did you find out Santa wasn’t real? Or is he real?

Er… He is so, real…!?

How would you spend your ideal Christmas?

Well I have just moved to Santa Monica, so I will have to find new ideal Christmases, perhaps on the beach. But as long as I’m with Jon my husband and family on Skype or visiting, then it will be ideal.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer... If you know who they are?

This story is about a group of friends who have bonded over the years to form a tight knit group. Sarah a sensible simple soul, Laura bitchy complicated, Beth a ‘too cool for school’ high school teacher, and Jess a funky hairdresser.

Jess meets a new American boyfriend and decides to honey trap him, just to see if he will take the bait. How could such a simple plan go wrong? He will either take the bait or he wont, right?

Just add Jess’s new flat mate, hot sexy Elise to the mix, a few glasses of wine and you have a cocktail fit for disaster – especially when Elise honey traps the wrong boyfriend!

Sarah's uncomplicated life is jettisoned into chaos. Dan, Sarah’s boyfriend makes some shady life choices. Leaving Sarah to find out who is friend and who is foe!

Wealthy bachelor Lee Preston sets his sights on Sarah and all Lee wants is to make her happy. Life could be fantastic when money is no object and your closet is filled with designer shoes, Oh, and his with secrets.

Second time lucky? No wait that’s not the saying…
