The Keeper of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan

Published by Two Roads on January 26, 2017

I'm really happy today to be the final stop on the blog tour for The Keeper of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan. Throughout the tour, Ruth has been sharing posts on her own beloved curiosities. Check out the tour banner at the bottom of this post to read all the rest of the posts.

Who’s Got the Button?

I find a lot of buttons of all colours shapes and sizes. My grandma used to have a button tin, and she would let me empty its contents onto the table and play with them. I would make patterns, shapes and swirls with them or build into piles until they toppled and scattered. This one caught my eye, shining bright blue in a puddle, and this was the button that inspired the short story in KEEPER about Margaret and how she escapes from her abusive husband.

The Keeper of Lost Things is out now, priced £16.99, published by Two Roads books.
