A different kind of post for me today but I'd like to bring your attention to this wonderful sounding event (one which I'd be at in a flash if I wasn't on holiday!).
September 17 - Sleepover Event at London Olympia
The first ever event industry sleepover will take place on September 17 at London Olympia. It's exclusive to women and is an all-night event in aid of Macmillan Cancer Trust and Breast Cancer Now charities. The night will involve book readings, cocktail mixing classes, yoga, film screenings and much more.
The author readings will come from Haley Hill, debut novelist of It's Got to Be Perfect, and Amanda Prowse, writer of several beautiful and emotional novels.
Anna Golden, Commercial Director at Olympia London, said: “Everyone enjoys a book before bed, so we’re delighted to welcome these two brilliant authors to our first ever, industry sleepover at Olympia London. As an event honouring the achievements of women in events, it will be great to learn how these two ladies have achieved success in the competitive world of fiction writing - as well as hear some great stories!”

The event sounds amazing and for a brilliant cause, one close to my heart, too, so I do hope some of you can make it!

Tickets cost £30 - all proceeds will go to Macmillan Cancer Trust and Breast Cancer Now. Click here to book your ticket.
